RI Climate Change

"This website serves as the State of Rhode Island’s primary portal for information and resources on climate change and resiliency. It houses resources for a variety of audiences including RI citizens, State agencies, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and the business community. It addresses how Rhode Islanders are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as how to adapt to the projected effects of climate change such as coastal hazards like sea level rise and storm surge, as well as high heat, drought, and inland flooding."

Sunrise Providence

This group may also be known as Sunrise Rhode Island (Sunrise RI). Its Facebook page appears to have originally been that of the RI Student Climate Coalition.

On September 9, 2019, its Facebook About Page still describes the RISCC.

"Sunrise is a movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process."

Livable RI

"Livable RI is a guide by Rhode Islanders, for Rhode Islanders.

A collaborative product of the members of the Civic Alliance for a Cooler Rhode Island (CACRI), this manual is designed to offer practical, up-to-date advice on:

  • Reducing our contributions to climate change,
  • Building relationships with each other and with our environment, and
  • Making Rhode Island more livable for all of us."
