ProvGardener is interested in who does what to take care of Rhode Island, so there has to be an Organization Directory. The directory page:
- Provides hints on how organization names are arranged
- Suggests, because all the organizations are categorized, to go to the Category of interest to reduce the number of listings.
In April 2016 there are almost 1,000 listings. Most of the environment-related nonprofits are in, and a lot of RI organizations that focus on Adult Education. Many municipal entities and departments are here. Some of the libraries are here as well. But the goal is to include businesses some day, so this directory is only just begun.
