The WHO Situation Report - 1 documents the origins of Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) from the first notice China gave WHO on Dec 31, 2019, to new coronavirus ID on Jan 7, and genetic sequence shared by China on Jan 12, 2020. By Jan 21, Japan, Korea, and Thailand had begun seeing cases, and China had cases beyond Wuhan. where the outbreak began.
