Northeast Ocean Data

"Established in 2009, the Northeast Ocean Data Portal provides free, user-friendly access to expert-reviewed interactive maps and data on the ocean ecosystem, economy, and culture of the northeastern United States."

From the website April 11, 2021

This is an important data source rather than an organization as such. It is maintained by the Northeast Regional Ocean Council.

Keep Hopkinton Country

A grass roots effort to preserve Hopkinton, Rhode Island's rural character. and protect our groundwater, wetlands, streams, rivers, farms and forests. This is a response to the state's announcement in 2015 of building a Welcome Center in Hopkinton on Rt 95.

Fix the 6/10

This is related to Moving Together Providence.

Rebuilding the 6/10 Connector was a major mistake. It should have been a ground-level boulevard, but instead we have a massive interchange of bridges that will have to be maintained at great expense for decades. The state government did not listen to the public.

MyCoast RI

MyCoast: Rhode Island is a portal to upload photos of high tides, storm and flooding events.

Photos highlight current conditions and are indicators of increasing trends in the future. Information collected helps to ground-truth Rhode Island’s STORMTOOLS inundation maps and models, visualize the impact of coastal hazards and enhance awareness of community decision-makers and citizens.
Submit photos at the website or download the MyCoast App.
