This group maintained part of the North-South Trail, and organized walks on the trail in spring.

This is an education center for the National Wildlife Refuge Complex in Rhode Island.

"The Rhode Island Fruit Growers Association, made up of over 30 local farmers, has grown high quality fresh fruits and vegetables for Rhode Island for 100 years. The Rhode Island Fruit Growers Association began in 1913 with a group of dedicated apple orchardists from Providence and Kent Counties. Over the years, RIFGA has expanded to include growers of many tree fruits, as well as berries."
