Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust
"The Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust was established by voters at the 1986 Financial Town Meeting.... The purpose of the “Ag Trust,” as it is known, is to preserve farmland and open space in the town of Little Compton through outright land purchase, the purchase of development rights, or the receipt of donations of land or easements."

RI Fruit Growers Assocation
"The Rhode Island Fruit Growers Association, made up of over 30 local farmers, has grown high quality fresh fruits and vegetables for Rhode Island for 100 years. The Rhode Island Fruit Growers Association began in 1913 with a group of dedicated apple orchardists from Providence and Kent Counties. Over the years, RIFGA has expanded to include growers of many tree fruits, as well as berries."
