"Our mission is to promote completion of the state’s bike path system, including connecting all existing bike paths and expanding it to the state’s borders. With 8 existing bike paths waiting to be connected, there are a number of projects that are either shovel ready, planned, or proposed throughout the rest of the state. Climate Jobs RI

Providence Racial and Environmental Justice Committee

"[T]he Racial and Environmental Justice Committee (REJC) [is] made up of people of color representing frontline communities in the City. The work began with anti-racism trainings, which presented a racial equity analysis for City and community members. The REJC then assessed the needs and priorities of community members and researched best practices for equitable sustainable community development."

Livable RI

  • Building relationships with each other and with our environment, and
  • Making Rhode Island more livable for all of us."

National Grid Energy Innovation Hub

Exhibits include information about energy savings tips, energy efficiency, renewable energy, electric vehicles, connected solutions (demand response), and ways to reduce energy bills. Guests can sign up for a no-cost home energy assessment and learn about the impact their energy choices have on the ultimate goal of a clean energy future.

The Hub is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. By appointment on Thursday. Groups are welcome.
