Barrington Farm School

Established in 2018, the Barrington Farm School is a 3-acre, 501(c)(3) non-profit farm in Barrington whose mission is to grow food, inspire learning, build community, and foster connection to the land, with the support of dedicated volunteers. Our vision for the farm is to be a thriving, inclusive community farm committed to restoring soil health, offering environmental education, promoting equitable food justice, and instilling an appreciation for the natural habitat and bounty

Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education

"Northeast SARE’s network of state coordinators–housed at each land grant university throughout the region–conduct professional development programs and share information about our grant programs and other sustainable agriculture resources in their respective states."

Since 1988, they granted $1.8 million to 38 projects.

"Explore history in the one-room schoolhouse, carriage barn and carpentry shop. Watch artisans at work in the blacksmith shop and print shop. Wander through the Canonchet Estate stable ruins, visit the Rhode Island Red heritage flock and our other farm animals.
