Save the Bay's "interactive marine science center is home to more than 40 species from Narragansett Bay, often including rare lobsters, crabs, seahorses, sea robins, terrapins and more. Wilkinson Mill and the Sylvanus Brown House are also part of the historical site. URI Master Gardeners maintain an historical garden at the site as well. The garden is typical of the period 1790-1830.

Ladd Observatory is a public education and outreach facility of the Department of Physics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
